GOLD Coast United boss Miron Bleiberg admitted it had been a bad day at the office but stressed it wasn't all doom and gloom following the goalless draw with Wellington Phoenix.
Bleiberg said his side looked "nervous" after conceding six goals in their previous two games, but remained upbeat after successfully plugging the defensive gaps that had been evident in their most recent outings.
"I prefer to look at it in the 'glass half full' way," Bleiberg said.
"We did not lose and we did not concede a goal, after doing both of those things recently.
"We didn't perform the way we can tonight and nothing seemed to come off for us. It wasn't a good day at the office but you also have to give credit to Wellington - they were organised and did a good job on us.
"All week we worked on defending and although we defended well, we just didn't get forward enough and did not put them under enough pressure. But it's not all doom and gloom, we are still in a good position."
