From being labelled as a team which struggled to score, the Mariners have hammered four past Melbourne and five past North Queensland Fury in recent away outings.

Bojic has been getting used to living out of a suitcase over the past five weeks, but now can't wait to be back in front of home fans at Bluetongue Stadium on Friday night, for the first time in six weeks.

The Mariners take on an in form Perth Glory side at Bluetongue, marking the first match of an extended period of home matches - six in nine weeks.

Bojic marked last week's 5-1 victory over North Queensland Fury with a cracking goal and he's keen on treating the Central Coast faithful with a repeat performance.

"Our away form has been exceptional, three wins, a draw and a loss, that's a pretty good away record," said Bojic.
"We haven't lost at home yet, including in Canberra, so getting the fans behind us will definitely help.

"We're scoring a lot of goals, especially if you add in the Gold Coast (at Bluetongue Stadium in round 7) where we scored three goals as well, we're scoring a lot of goals.

"Our goal average is amazing, plus 13. Defensively we've been solid and we're scoring a lot of goals now, but we have to continue that this Friday."

Bojic's 22nd minute goal was his second of the season, and he concedes, despite the impeccable finish, he may have been slightly fortunate to see it nestle inside the back post.

"I was happy with the all round performance. Getting the goal was a bonus and it was good to help out with a couple of other goals, it all adds to the performance.

"Looking at the replay I was shocked I shot from that angle, but I hit it well and it went in. I guess next time I might not be so lucky."

Bojic says confidence in the camp has never been an issue, more that recent results have simply topped up those levels.

"We've always been full of confidence, but getting that win adds a little extra bit. Scoring nine goals in two games to the top team and to the bottom team is always tricky," he added.

"They (North Queensland) would have wanted to progress, and North Queensland is a good team, but luckily enough we have hit our straps, and hopefully we can continue it.

"Hopefully they (Mariners supporters) show their true colours on Friday like they have done (during the last six weeks) on away trips or watching from home."
