The Jets are unimpressed by the fixture scheduling which sees them having to head west tomorrow.

Newcastle tried and failed to have the fixture altered when the A-League draft draw was released but coach Culina says they must simply get on with it.

The mind games have started with the Jets boss adamant that all the pressure ahead of the game is on struggling Glory.

Newcastle, in contrast, are on a roll and looking to extend their impressive run of victories.

"We are travelling on Christmas Day, it's not ideal but we've got to do it and get on with it," said Culina. "They will fear us. The pressure is all on them (Glory) because they're playing at home and they've got to get a result.

"We've got to get a result as well but more so them than us."

The match sees goalkeeper Neil Young return to Perth after the custodian once tried and failed to earn a deal with Glory.
