First half goals from Brazilian duo Henrique and Reinaldo put Roar in a commanding position after just 26 minutes.

Sasho Petrovski headed against a post but Charlie Miller's impressive strike after the break meant there was no way back for Culina's side.

Culina was disappointed with his side's performance, particularly given that the Jets had won their past two games at home.

"It was a good lesson for us, that unless we maintain that discipline, organisation and teamwork that we are used to that we can be beaten," he said.

"As a team, it was disappointing; it was three-nil at home. It's hard to come up with too many positives in that respect, but the positive out of all of this is that we know that we need to be disciplined and play to our game plan, if we don't we're vulnerable."

"I'm disappointed for the supporters, they expected better at home, and we didn't produce."

The Jets will now lose several players for the Under 20 World Cup as they prepare for a round seven date against Sydney FC at the SFS next Sunday.
