Former Queensland Roar captain Chad Gibson is back in Sydney after his two year stint in Brisbane and started a full-time training schedule to attract A-League interest.
The 30-year-old defender has begun training with Peter Tsekenis’s Bankstown Lions in the NSW PL “just to get my touch back” as well as undertaking his own full-time training regime.
“My appetite for the game is greater than its ever been,” Gibson told www.au.fourfourtwo.com yesterday. “I feel I have a lot to offer a club and I feel fitter and keener than ever.
"I want to keep playing at A-League level for at least another two-three years.”
Gibson is a former Australian schoolboy international. He played for Marconi Stallions and Sydney United in the old NSL before a stint with Norwegian side Bodo Glimt in 2001.
