Caretaker coach Branko Culina has been named Sydney FC's boss for the next two years.
Sydney FC hosted a press conference at Star City Casino to announce Culina's contract contract has been upgraded from "interim" to "full time".
Culina's current record with the club is five wins from eight outtings; matches have included "friendlies" against local opposition as well as against their Group opponents in the Asian Champions League.
Culina initially took charge after last season's boss Terry Butcher was sacked for failing to defend Sydney's Hyundai A-League Championship title.
Since taking control of the side, Sydney FC has had mixed fortunes in the ACL under Culina.
They won their first match in style against Shanghai Shenhua, drew against the highly-fancied Japanese side, Urawa Reds, and lost to Indonesian underdogs, Persik Kediri.
Culina will now be looking to avenge that defeat with the added confidence of knowing his future is now secure when the two sides meet again at Parramatta Stadium on Wednesday.
