BRANKO Culina has vowed that Newcastle Jets will continue to try and play football in a bid to emerge from a slump that has seen them lose three A-League games in succession.
Culina was understandably left frustrated after his side dominated much of the game yet were left with nothing to show for their efforts.
The home side ended 1-0 losers with Mile Sterjovski converting a late penalty at EnergyAustralia Stadium.
"Again I feel disappointed for the players because we try and play football, and we will continue to try and play football," he said.
"Nothing will change, in that respect, while I'm the coach. We will endeavour to play our way out of trouble.
"We have got, I believe, a good squad of players who need to continue to believe in themselves and the results will come," he said.
