Milicevic and Wehrman were involved in a training altercation during the week.

Jets coach Branko Culina said the incident was outside the accepted boundaries of behaviour for the club and while he refused to confirm whether the defensive pair would sit out Sunday's match, he indicated that the team management would be taking a 'touch stance'.

"The club has taken a stance and we will stand by that decision and just like everyone else you will have to wait and see what that stance is," Culina said after Saturday's training session.

"To discipline players has nothing to do with how we will approach the game on Sunday.

"You are assuming that we are doing things that will affect the game but let me say this again, the club is serious about where it wants to go and what it expects from the squad and team and we will do whatever it takes to ensure we have that discipline and professionalism to take it to the next level."

However, with rookie Taylor Regan lining up in the centre of defence along Nikolai Topor-Stanley and Ben Kantarovski training in the defensive midfield role it appears that Milicevic and Wehrman will not start in Sunday's match.

"Everyone is in the squad," Culina re-iterated. "I have confidence in every player in the squad, I have said that since day one.

"And you have to have confidence in the depth of your squad when things like we have experienced this year happen."

Irrespective if the two veterans take part in the game one thing is certain is that Kaz Patafta will start in an attacking midfielder role and Culina hopes the talented youngster can spark something in attack for the Jets.

"Kaz is one of those players when he is fit and confident he can make things happen and at the moment the team needs players who can make things happen," Culina said.

"He hasn't had much game time in the senior team recently but he has been playing with the youth team over the last few weeks.

"He is not an out and out goal scorer but it doesn't mean that he won't score but we have a lot of players who can provide us with that type of approach."
