Dadi impressed coach David Mitchell late last year but Glory could not obtain a release for the 34-year-old Ivory Coast-born striker.

Dadi has had a peripatetic career beginning in France in the late 80s followed by spells at Aberdeen, Nottingham Forest, Notts County and Tranmere Rovers (where he was top scorer in 2004).

Glory are expected to leave late in February for China and will return on March 10.

Dadi gained some notoriety in England three years ago when he began his own fashion label while with his girlfriend, French jazz singer Joana Varela da Veiga.
