ADELAIDE striker Bruce Djite has quashed rumours he is set to switch to Europe and join Dutch Eredivisie outfit FC Twente next season.
The Washington-born Australia Under-23 striker is under contract with the A-League side until 2009, but reports have suggested Twente are set to match Adelaide's asking price.
Australia midfielder Luke Wilkshire, 26, currently plays for Twente, but Djite insists his immediate future remains at Hindmarsh Stadium.
"I'm happy to stay here for another year," said Djite.
Meanwhile, Adelaide goalkeeper Daniel Beltrame has signed a one-year contract extension.
Beltrame joins Eugene Galekovic as the Reds' two contracted custodians for the new domestic season.
"It's great, I'm looking forward to having another season here and all I want to do is play so hopefully it will be an injury free year," said Beltrame
"Eugene is a great goalkeeper and he's proved it since he's been here.
"I'd like to be number one and seeing Eugene do well makes me work harder so I think it is beneficial for the players and the club that we can push each other.
"It has been a while since I've played so to have a run would be good."
