Dutch striker Rigters is without a club after being released by Premier League side Blackburn when his contract expired this closed season.

The 27-year-old signed for Blackburn in 2007, but struggled to make an impact at the club and was duly loaned out to Norwich, Barnsley and last season he returned home to the Netherlands to join Willem II on loan.

A product of the famed Ajax youth academy, Rigters particularly impressed for the Netherlands U21 side, where he scored six goals in nine appearances, staring at the 2007 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship where he won the Golden Boot – scoring this last minute overhead equaliser against England.

However Rigters has failed to live up to his early promise since, but he is now looking to relaunch his career in Asia and would welcome interest from any A-League clubs.
