A-League hopefuls South Melbourne, third-tier outfit Bankstown Berries, NSW's Hakoah Sydney City and WA's Sorrento are the first clubs to qualify for the FFA Cup last 16 after claiming dramatic victories on Wednesday night.
Bankstown Berries 2 (Bradshaw 19', Moustakas 46') MetroStars 1 (Dawber 90')
The NSW NPL2 club progressed and taking a 2-0 advantage shortly after the break, before surviving a late scare.
Jake Bradshaw opened the scoring on 19 minutes, before Periklis Moustakas doubled their advantage on 46 minutes.
The unfancied Berries were made nervous in the dying stages as MetroStars attacker Matthew Dawber pulled one back in stoppage time but it ended 2-1.

The Seagulls become the first ever WA NPL club to reach the FFA Cup last 16 after a narrow triumph over the ACT champions.
Exeter-born forward Sean Canham netted the game's sole goal on seven minutes with a header.
Both sides hit the back of the net later in the game, only to be ruled out for offside.
