ROBBIE Fowler's English break could be bad news for Sydney FC with Perth Glory's star recruit looking "fresh" on the training ground, according to a teammate.
Fowler has returned from a break in England and is set to face Sydney FC this weekend.
"He was looking fresh today when I saw him so obviously it was a good little spell for him over in England,'' goalkeeper Aleks Vrteski told perthnow.com.au.
"Definitely a massive boost for us.''
Meanwhile, former coach Dave Mitchell insists Fowler and new boss Ian Ferguson are happy to work together - despite their well-documented spat at North Queensland last season.
"I can assure you, there's no animosity between Robbie and Fergie. What happened between them at North Queensland Fury was blown out of proportion," Mitchell told The Daily Telegraph.
