GOLD Coast United Youth has produced an incredible fightback to defeat Perth Glory Youth 6-4 at Owen Park on Sunday in one of the best ever games in the National Youth League.
Glory's Serbian import Branko Jelic had given the West Australians a 4-1 lead early in the second-half before Gold Coast staged a huge comeback.
Three Gold Coast goals within six minutes had United level thanks to Ben Halloran's double and Bobby Russell.
And then two late penalties from Steven Lustica and Chris Harold completed the fightback for United, who are now four points clear at the top of the NYL table.
Gold Coast United Youth 6 (Halloran 41', 66', 68', Russell 62', Lustica [pen] 81', Harold [pen] 84')
