PERTH Glory Youth has recorded a stunning 3-nil win over the South Korean under 19 national schoolboy team to finish 5th at the prestigious Weifang Cup in China.
Adam Taggart scored twice and Emannuel Linga was on target as Perth Glory upstaged their more fancied rivals.
Despite a limited preparation, the victory was a fantastic result for Coach Gareth Naven who was forced to work with a new squad from the one which lost last seasons A-League Youth final.
Perth Glory Youth played four different national teams during the week long tournament with matches against China, Korea, United Arab Emirates and South Korea.
