PERTH Glory will consider their options before making an appeal against the two match suspension dished out to experienced defender Andy Todd for violent conduct.
Footage from Friday night's match showed Todd pushing Adelaide's Scott Jamieson as the two teams headed to the tunnel, with Todd making contact to Jamieson's face.
Although the contact appeared minimal, it sparked a minor half-time scuffle between the two sides and the Match Review Panel consisting of Barry Such (Chair), Brad Maloney and Alan Davidson found Todd had committed the offence of "Assault on a player" and proposed a sanction of two matches.
Todd was already required to serve a one match suspension for receiving and indirect red card during the match, the MRP proposed that the sanctions be served concurrently, therefore Todd misses a maximum of two matches if he accepts the MRP's assault sanction.
Perth Glory have until 12.00pm Tuesday, October 13 to accept the proposed sanction or refer the matter to a hearing by the FFA Disciplinary Committee.
