PERTH Glory captain Jamie Coyne is hoping his side can take advantage of some bleary-eyed Adelaide United opponents at Hindmarsh Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds have had a mammoth week of travel and are now making their way back to Australia from Tashkent after their ACL triumph.
Glory's players are no strangers to long flights in the pursuit of A-League points but nothing quite as draining as the trips endured by Adelaide in recent days.
Coyne told thewest.com.au: "They’ve got to deal with a horrendous trip back really, I think it’s 30 hours, so that’s going to be a bit of an advantage to us.
“It’s nice for once that we’re not the ones who are having to deal with all the jet-lag, they’re going to have it worse than us, so it’ll be good.”
Glory will be looking to build on last week's morale-boosting triumph over Sydney FC which saw a double for Jamie Harnwell and a return to action for former Socceroo Hayden Foxe.
Perth will almost certainly be without striker Eugene Dadi for Sunday's clash due to a groin strain.
