The Glory squad will include Josip Magdic (Floreat Athena), Mark Anthony (Stiring Lions), Mark Lee (ECU Joondalup) and Callum Roberts (Fremantle).

The inclusion of the quartet shows once again the high standard of the Premier League, and its capacity to provide quality players to the A-League and beyond.

Previous years have seen such players as Nikita Rukavytsya from Perth and Jerry Karpeh from Floreat Athena go on to play in the A-League, in addition to the numerous players now plying their trade in overseas leagues.

Football West CEO Garry Chandler said he was pleased for the players who have been given this opportunity, and wished them all the best for the trip to China and their future prospects.

“These four players are just a sample of the quality in our Premier League,” Mr Chandler said.

“From champions like Bobby Despotovski, now player-coach at Inglewood, to young guns such as Phil Arnold and Ludovic Boi from Stirling, who have been included in national under-age squads, the standard of our league is already high and only increasing."

The Glory squad depart Perth on the 29th of February, and will be in tour for 3 weeks.
