Mitchell unveiled the 25-year-old on Monday at a joint media conference with Qantas Socceroo Mark Schwarzer, saying Trinidad would be an essential part of a fresh looking strike force that included other new signing Eugene Dadi, along with regular strikers Jamie Harnwell and Nikita Rukavytsya.

"The good thing with Adrian now, he's come in and had his first training session and right away, the players like what they see," said Mitchell.

"He's got that deft touch ... he brings a bit of flair, a bit of goal-scoring nous, reads the game well and can play other people into it.

"He's technically a very good player and that's something we've missed. So when I'm looking at my line-up, there's always something a bit different and he adds that little bit of difference."

Trinidad has hardly had time to settle in the Western Australian capital, having only arrived in Perth on Sunday night from Kuala Lumpur, where he played for Malaysian club KL Plus last season, scoring nine goals along the way.

But, within 48 hours of arriving in Perth, Trinidad will be on the plane again, heading to Indonesia for the Glory's pre-season tour.

Mitchell is glad Trinidad is making the trip abroad however, despite admitting the player's a few weeks behind his new team-mates' fitness levels.

"It's important that, we've just got Adrian now," he said. "We've still got a few players missing, but they're all meeting us in Indonesia.

"I'm looking forward to getting the squad together and working with them day in, day out.

"(We've got) a couple of games over there, to work on some things and then come back a more complete side."

One of the players meeting Mitchell in Indonesia will be newly-signed goalkeeper Frank Juric, who arrives from Germany after transferring from Hannover 96, while the coach said the club would also be putting a potential Brazilian signing through his paces as well before possibly signing him.

The Brazilian, who Mitchell refused to name, could possibly fill the third international position on Glory's roster alongside Trinidad and Ivory Coast striker Dadi, who has previously plied his trade for second tier Israeli club Hapoel Acre and also for Nottingham Forest and Notts County in England.

Trinidad, however, simply looked to be enjoying another sunny winter day in Perth, saying it reminded him of his home town, which is six hours away from Argentina's capital Buenos Aires.

"I like Perth. I came yesterday afternoon and I think it's a very good, very nice place. I think I can stay here," said Trinidad.

"(I'm) a little tired but its okay, I'm only happy because (I'm with) Perth Glory and I hope I can give to Perth my best."
