PERTH Glory have suffered a major blow, losing livewire midfielder Andrezinho to a hamstring injury at training on Friday morning.
According to the The West Australian, the likeable Brazilian may have even torn his hamstring during the session at Perth's McGillivray Oval, although scans will determine the extent of the injury.
"It's a disappointment to lose Andre for tomorrow night," Perth Glory coach Ian Ferguson said.
"But we have some good options to replace him with Travis Dodd and Tommy Amphlett who are both available."
Glory are preparing for a big Saturday night clash with Melbourne Heart, but may have to use Dodd, who is himself returning from a month's lay-off with a hamstring strain, in place of Andrezinho, although Todd Howarth is another who could fill that role along with Amphlett.
