PERTH Glory defender Brent Griffiths has been hit with a one-match ban following his red card in the club's 2-0 defeat by Sydney FC and now misses tomorrow night's trip to Brisbane Roar.
Griffiths was dismissed after bringing down Sydney 's Alex Brosque in the closing moments of the clash at Parramatta Stadium.
The match review panel that determined Griffiths was guilty of 'denying the opposing team a clear goal scoring opportunity'.
It means that Griffiths will miss Perth's trip to face A-League leaders Brisbane Roar tomorrow night.
