FC Seoul have made an offer for the versatile performer according to Jets owner Con Constantine yet Griffiths himself believes nothing will transpire on that front.

Further speculation has emerged today that Beijing Guoan, already close to finalising a loan deal for Adam's brother Joel, want him to join the ranks and also take Mark Milligan as well.

Joel is believed to be finalising a loan deal to Guoan today while Milligan is supposedly set to complete a switch to Shanghai Shenhua.

Despite the rather muddy picture, Gold Coast seem very clear as to where they stand with regard to Adam Griffiths.

United CEO Clive Mensink told au.fourfourtwo.com today: "Despite all the recent speculation, Gold Coast United have not received any formal or informal communication from any Korean club regarding Adam Griffiths.

“Adam has a contract with Gold Coast United and our position is that he is not for sale.

“We are looking forward to him joining us when his current deal with the Newcastle Jets expires and we consider him to be very important to the future of our club.”

While Gold Coast and Adam Griffiths seem sure that Korea is out, Constantine appears to be leaving the door ajar for a move.

"Offers are coming in, but until it is a win-win situation we are not going to say yes," he told the Herald.

Adam says he is ready to throw himself into the Jets' Asian Champions League campaign after what he labelled a difficult couple of weeks.

The Jets held their Mad Monday celebrations yesterday, a brief break before preparations crank up for the start of the ACL in March.
