Friday's A-League clash between Gold Coast United and Central Coast at Skilled Park has been postponed due to 'the threat of flooding in and around the stadium.
Heavy rain has lashed the Glitter Strip all week, forcing Football Federation Australia to call the game off in consultation with Gold Coast.
The pitch at the Robina ground is in fine condition, but access roads to the stadium and the eastern carpark are both flooded.
It's dreadful news for the Mariners, who will have to fit the rescheduled match somewhere in their already packed calendar, which gears up with the start of their Asian Champions League campaign in March.
The re-scheduled fixture will be announced in the coming days.
