EXCLUSIVE: Gold Coast United are the latest team to have their new season strips revealed after fans found mock-ups on new supplier Fi-ta's website
Fi-Ta were confirmed as Gold Coast's new suppliers earlier this month but the wraps have been kept on what the club's new look will be for next year.
They have kept their basic Brazil at home, Real Madrid away concept but added some new finesse to the design with more integrated colour throughout the design.
Their new training top is also a collector's item for fans with more than hint of Chelsea in its blue colour scheme, while fans will be able to buy the darker polo top.
The mock-ups also reveal the home and away strip will be sponsored by the Hyatt Regency Coolum resort, recently bought by mining magnate club owner Clive Palmer, while Queensland Nickel will be on the training top.
“Our players have enjoyed input into the design of the new home and away strips, as well as the training apparel and casual wear," said Palmer earlier this month.
"They’ve also tested the fabrics in a training environment and are very happy with the products they will be wearing next season."
Fi-ta’s General Manager Dease Henwood added: “Everyone at Fi-ta is very excited and honoured to be associated with Gold Coast United FC as the official apparel supplier and sponsor.
“For Gold Coast United supporters there will be a large range of retail apparel with something to suit every taste. We have considered the needs of supporters when designing our products and I’m confident they will be well received.
“Following consultation and subsequent feedback from the players, we have developed a new lightweight fabric for the playing strip that is designed specifically for Gold Coast United.
“The new fabric is made from lightweight, high performance, soft handle polyester yarn and features a superior moisture management system providing ultimate comfort and freshness."
