GOLD Coast United season membership packages for next season go on sale tomorrow and the club promises to reward fans with some great deals.
With the inclusion of new club Melbourne Heart in the expanded 11-team competition, Gold Coast United will host 15 home games at Skilled Park, starting with the blockbuster derby clash with rivals Brisbane Roar on August 8.
Fans can secure their seats for all the action from $9.00 for a child (per game), $15.00 for an adult (per game) or $9.15 each for a family membership (per person, per game).
From just $549.00 for a family of four, United's family-friendly season membership prices are supported by family-friendly scheduling, with six Sunday afternoon home matches in the upcoming campaign.
In addition to securing the best possible seats at the best possible prices, Gold Coast United season members will enjoy exclusive benefits, including a members' pack and member-only game day prize draws.
Gold Coast United CEO, Clive Mensink, said the club's 2010/11 season membership options were great value for fans.
"Our season membership prices are affordable, great value for money and provide all football supporters on the Gold Coast with a flexible option to get behind their local team,' he said.
"For a family to be able to watch their team compete in a season of top-class sport, in a wonderful stadium for just over $9.00 per person, per match, is outstanding value for money.
"As well as being a great, economical method of securing your seats for all of our matches at Skilled Park, a season membership is by far the most convenient way to support Gold Coast United, with no last minute hassle to purchase tickets.
"The team performed brilliantly in their first season and are hungry to improve on our third place finish. With the help of football fans and sport lovers on the Gold Coast we are all confident we can do just that."
With virtually no changes to the squad so far, the club is confident a successful campaign is ahead after they welcome back World Cup stars Jason Culina and Shane Smeltz in time for the big kick-off.
Mensink said that local interest and support for the Gold Coast's FIFA World Cup duo is sure to be high, with United fans in the enviable position of being able to watch the pair on a regular basis when they strut their stuff at Skilled Park.
"With the FIFA World Cup Finals in South Africa almost upon us, football is going to be at the forefront of the nation's interest and it's a very exciting time for the code," Mensink said
"We are incredibly proud to have in Jason Culina and Shane Smeltz, two players from Gold Coast United who are representing their countries against the best the world has to offer in the biggest sporting event on the planet.
"I think this highlights not only what a superb group of players we have at Gold Coast United, but also what a top-drawer competition the Hyundai A-League is.
"For our supporters to be able to watch players of this calibre week in, week out, is just terrific and shows how far the game has come."
