GOLD Coast United boss Miron Bleiberg is aiming to tempt English-based Australians home to star for his side next season.
The club's entry into the A-League is expected to be confirmed later this month and Bleiberg is preparing to visit two continents in order to assemble a team that can challenge for the championship.
He will first head to Brazil before before moving on to England to see what might be available.
He knows what he wants from the Brazil portion of his trip. He told www.goldcoast.com.au: "I'll be looking for creative players who can unlock defences."
Bleiberg will then head for England with his focus expected to be on the English championship, currently home to numerous Australian players.
He said: "There are a lot of good Australian players there and I'll be watching some games and assessing who might be good for us. Perhaps some of them will want to come home while still at, or at least near, their peaks."
