Goalkeeper
Nathan Coe - Melbourne Victory
Was a man on a mission this week including that all important penalty save. It was the match-changer, as Victory went down the other end and scored one minute later.

Defender Left
Adam Traore – Melbourne Victory
Again a very sound performance. Is one of, if not the best, left-backs in the competition. Team got a clean sheet despite being down to 10 men with their backs to the wall.

Defender Centre
Seb Ryall - Sydney FC
Had a top game in the blues shirt. Enjoying a more settled role at the back this season and has revelled under Frank Farina’s reign.

Defender Centre
Pablo Contreras - Melbourne Victory
His best match in a Victory shirt to date. Shows strong pace at the age of 35 and made committed tackles, putting his body on the line when required.

Defender Right
Storm Roux - Central Coast Mariners
Playing well for the Mariners and enjoyed his role again on Saturday night against Perth Glory. Quickly adapting to what it takes to be a good player in a Mariners’ shirt.

Midfielder Left
Michael McGlinchey - Central Coast Mariners
Was a vital cog in helping Central Coast get the points against Perth Glory. Scored, plus had a lot of touches on the ball (47 passes – 89%)

Midfielder Centre
Andrea Migliorini -Melbourne Heart
The 25-year-old Italian was superb in his match against Newcastle Jets. Not easy playing in a team low in confidence but stood out. Thirty-five passes in total and also put one in the back of the net.

Midfielder Centre
Mark Milligan - Melbourne Victory
Great performance from the captain. Again, backs to the wall and had to fight deep. Led the troops very well. Helped his side in that they didn’t panic going down to 10 men.

Midfielder Right
Ivan Franjic - Brisbane Roar
Scored another great goal and is ever-improving. Certainly gaining more confidence from his Socceroos call up against Costa Rica. Has got the world at his feet.

Striker
Adam Taggart - Newcastle Jets
Hat-trick hero for the Jets, how can you leave him out of the team of the week? Is on cloud nine at the moment. High on confidence, looks the real deal.

Striker
Richard Garcia - Sydney FC
Scored a wonderful curling shot that was very hard for Wellington glovesman Glenn Moss to stop. His forward link-up play has been very good. Has really good striker instincts in the 18 yard box. One of the reasons why Sydney are top four.
