The FFA stepped in ahead of the game to make sure all the necessary costs for staging the clash were met.

"It's a big concern and we're having more discussions with the FFA tomorrow but it can't go on,'' Tsatsimas told AAP after the game.

"It has to have some sort of end to it and now, because it will play on players' minds.

''We are at an impasse and I don't resile from that."

The CEO also admits that a united picture may not last indefinitely.

"It's a major concern from where I sit because we have people who have been united for two weeks now, but there comes a point where that will end," he added.
