And thanks to all participating A-League media managers who will be working hard over the Christmas break to keep the competition in the spotlight…and thanks to our readers, bloggrer

Melbourne Victory
To the tune of; “Mariah Carey’s – All I Want For Christmas - is you” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXQViqx6GMY)

“We don't want a lot for Christmas,
there is just one thing we need.
We don't care about the past games;
we just want Hearts to bleed.
We really want to win the derby,
more than you could ever know.

We want to crush them from the start,

All we want for Christmas is... Heart.”

Melbourne Heart
Three points and a full house at AAMI Park on Friday night (“Christmas wishes do come true" – Ed).

Central Coast Mariners
All Central Coast Mariners want for Christmas is a win in the west against Perth Glory. We might be top of the pile at the moment but, to coin a terribly overused cliché, we're taking in one game at a time. The league is incredibly even so three points against the purple-whites at nib Stadium may prove to be a gift that keeps on giving as the 2012 Hyundai A-League season ticks on!

Gold Coast United
No cards but season’s beatings and a sleighing on Boxing Day!

Perth Glory
All we want for Christmas is a full house, bag of goals and a win against the Central Coast Mariners on Friday night for our passionate and genuine members.

Adelaide United
All Adelaide United wants for Christmas is to score more goals, concede less and see if Santa can’t magically change the minus on our goal difference to a plus…oh and three points in each of the club’s six games in January would be handy as well.

And who would have thought, the other thing on our Christmas list Santa already has already come to the party with – Kossie back!

But in all seriousness and most importantly, Adelaide United wishes all of its supporters and fans a happy and safe festive season and looks forward to seeing them in their droves for the match against the Wellington Phoenix on December 30 at Hindmarsh.”

Newcastle Jets
We want our team to remain fit and healthy and to have a strong second half of the season. We want Newcastle to be proud of their A-League team. We also want our Members and fans to come to our games throughout the festive season and support the Jets

Sydney FC
All the HAL wants for Christmas is sunshine for the next Sydney FC home match

Wellington Phoenix
All we want for Christmas is an injury-free run!

Brisbane Roar
Three points on Boxing Day!
