MELBOURNE Heart will name their new coach tomorrow with youth coach John Aloisi tipped to take the hotseat ahead of assistant Ante Milicic after all other contenders were ruled out.
Former Socceroo Aloisi boasts a peerless playing resume. The 36-year-old is the only Australian to have played in Italy's Serie A, Spain's La Liga and the English Premier League.
Milicic however holds a superior coaching resume having worked with the Heart's senior team during its foundation season in 2010/11.
However he has strongly been linked with the coach's role at the new West Sydney club, which has seen Aloisi now become favourite for the Heart job.
Both candidates are said to popular choices among Heart players.
Heart have been on the hunt for a new coach since John van 't Schip announced in late March he would quit.
The club's foundation coach is bound for Guadalajara in Mexico where he has signed for two years.
