MELBOURNE Victory star Carlos Hernandez has been included in Costa Rica coach Hernan Medford's 20-man squad to play Jamaica.
Seven of the 20 players are based overseas and are expected to meet on Monday in Kingston, where the friendly will be played next Wednesday.
Eleven players from the squad which drew 0-0 with Iran in last Wednesday's friendly will not play the Reggae Boyz.
They are Gabriel Badilla, Roberto Wong, Ricardo Harris, Daniel Jimenez, Jose Luis Lopez, Marvin Angulo, Daniel Fonseca, Michael Rodriguez, Alonso Solis, Alejandro Alpizar and Jean Carlo Solorzano.
Costa Rica begin their 2010 World Cup qualifying campaign in June when they face the winner of US Virgin Islands and Grenada, who play off in March.
