Inter striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic played down his heroics, claiming team-work was the key to his team's first triumph in the Champions League this season.
Ibrahimovic ended his goalscoring drought in Europe by scoring twice in Tuesday's 2-0 win over PSV Eindhoven, a result which allowed Inter to get back on track following their opening slip to Fenerbahce.
The Sweden international had not scored in the Champions League since December 2005.
"The important thing was the victory," said Ibrahimovic. "I am not interested in individual awards, I only want the best for Inter.
"For me it wasn't crucial to score in Europe but rather for my team to win."
The Serie A leaders had to work hard after being reduced to 10 men in the 65th minute when Christian Chivu was sent off.
"I think all of my players have done a great job," said coach Roberto Mancini.
"When Ibrahimovic is at his best, he makes the difference."
