A-LEAGUE fans will have a small window of opportunity to see Kearyn Baccus in action after AC Siena underlined their desire to have the young Australian back in Italy.
As reported earlier by au.fourfourtwo.com Baccus will join Perth Glory on a short-term deal before finalising a move to the Serie A club next year.
Siena, who have been tracking the progress of the 21-year-old creative midfielder, made it clear they have no intention of letting him slip through their fingers.
Club president Massimo Mezzaroma said: "Kearyn is a talented young player that we have monitored for some time but his non-EU status has made it difficult for us to register him until 2013.
"We are therefore delighted that in the meantime he will join Perth Glory FC in his homeland of Australia where he will play first team football until his return to Italy next year."
It's expected the former Sydney FC youth team player will join Glory for the new A-League season before switching to Siena around January.
Baccus has been on the books of French club Le Mans since 2009 after leaving Australia as a talented youth player in the national set up.
Last season he played almost 20 times for the lower-tier French club where he scored twice.
The Aussie has signed a pre-agreement with Siena, though there is speculation he could be loaned out to another club once there.
In Italy, Baccus will join another young Aussie Chris Ikonomidis who plays for Atalanta reserves.
Atalanta also recently signed Socceroo James Troisi, on loan from Juventus.
