NEWCASTLE Jets are keeping their fingers crossed that a knee injury to Nikolai Topor Stanley is not serious after the player was unable to finish Friday's goalless draw in Adelaide.
When asked about the injury Culina said: "We don't know how bad it is, we will have to wait 48 hours.
"The doctors did not think it was serious, he could run but he could not jump."
As for the match itself, Culina was pleased with his team's efforts.
"I was happy with the way we played against a difficult opponent," he said.
They have a good history of winning their opening games of the season - so it is good to get a point. The whole team did very well, you have to consider we were the away team and we were the ones playing football."
