EXCLUSIVE: Former NAC Breda and Willem II keeper Peter Zois, 30, has arrived in Newcastle today on a three-day trial with Gary Van Egmond's Jets.
With an injury to current back up keeper Ben Kennedy, Van Egmond is assessing his keeping stocks as he looks towards the remainder of the A-League and an ACL campaign in 2009.
With the arrival of Zois and his potential signing, it fuels speculation that current first team keeper Ante Covic could be on the way out at season's end.
Zois, a former Young Socceroo keeper, has spent nine seasons in the Eredivisie but has been mainly a squad keeper although he's started around 23 matches in Holland.
The 6ft glovesman played part of last season in the VPL with Altona Magic.
