EXCLUSIVE: Joel Griffiths will be a Beijing player after Newcastle Jets and Beijing Guoan agreed to an undisclosed transfer fee late today following four days of independent arbitration.
All that remains now is for the documents to be executed and that is expected to be finalised tonight (Friday).
After that, Griffiths will become a Beijing Guoan player and is expected to jet off this weekend.
The arbitration hearing ended this afternoon (Friday) with no decision made by independent arbitrator Deborah Healy.
It followed four arduous days of deliberation at FFA HQ in Sydney between the two parties.
Beijing began pre-season training last Sunday ahead of the new Chinese Super League and ACL campaigns.
