The Sydney FC coach was less than impressed with the way his team tossed away a 3-0 lead at the SFS.

He said: "It’s two points dropped.

"We have to learn to kill teams off and tighten things up. Even at 3-1 I didn’t think we could give it away.

"We were a bit naive at the back and you can make allowances for that, I guess, because they put us under the pump and we probably got a little bit rattled."

Kosmina admitted that his team had paid a price for missed opportunities during the game as well.

Stuart Musialik somehow rattled the bar at 3-0 when it looked easier to score.

"You don't hit the bar five metres out like Stuart Musialik did ansd you don't not pull the trigger like Mark Bridge did.

"We had enough chances to win that game by six or seven."

Steve Corica, Sydney's captain for the night, was equally stunned at the comeback by the Coast and was at a loss as to how the game slipped away.

"Obviously we'll look at the video again but we can't give away goals like that."

"We played some good football in the first half and not so in the second. We've got to improve for the next game."
