The show, accessible online and via podcast, kicks off Monday night and will be broadcast one night a week until the new A-League season starts. Then it will add Thursday night to its roster.

Two Up Front is broadcast from a studio next to Hindmarsh stadium but it will have a national and global focus on football with interviews and lively debate, say the producers, who were at pains to point out that it wasn't simply about Adelaide United.

Segments will include "Stuff up of the week" and "Hothead of the round" as well as three to four interviews per program with interviewees in the studio or on the line.

The program will have an anchor with the two former Reds identities Kosmina and Aloisi providing views and comment.

The show signals an upsurge in football's profile across the broadcast media of late. Last week, Channel Nine launched its own Sunday afternoon football show hosted by Stephanie Brantz called Football Stars Of Tomorrow.

Aloisi tells au.fourfourtwo.com that the Two Up Front concept excites him and he's looking forward to locking journalistic horns with his former boss at Adelaide United.

"I used to have to be careful what I said to Kossie because he'd punish me on the training track.

"Now, it's beautiful. I can say what I like and if I disagree with him and think he's an idiot, I can tell him! And he can do the same to me. We'll give our opinions but we're happy to hear everyone else's ...

He added: "It's like The Four Diegos, but you'll be able to see us."

There'll be some unknown Aussie players and the bigger names like the Harry Kewell or Lucas Neill on the show, promises Aloisi.

Last year, when coaching Sydney FC, Kosmina memorably described journalists who work on the Internet as "lunatics".

When asked about this apparent back-flip, Aloisi replied with a laugh: "Who says Kossie wasn't a lunatic?"

The first show kicks off this Monday 6pm local time (half an hour later in eastern states). The show is accessible through www.australialivetv.com and/or www.twoupfrontlivetv.com
