SYDNEY FC coach Vitezslav Lavicka says he was disappointed his side conceded just moments after equalising in Saturday's 2-1 loss to North Queensland Fury in Townsville.
The Sky Blues went behind on 65 minutes, before levelling courtesy of Scott Jamieson's 82nd minute goal.
But the Fury were allowed to strike almost immediately when Dyron Daal cut through the Sydney defence for the winner.
"We are obviously disappointed in this moment," coach Vitezslav Lavicka said.
"We controlled the first-half but went behind in the middle of the second-half.
"We then scored but conceded again straight after so we are disappointed."
Lavicka added he was impressed by his Czech counterpart's side.
"Credit to Franz Straka and the Fury for their performance," he said. "They played well, particularly in the second-half.
"We will analyse the game and look at all of the parts and be ready for the match against Brisbane. They will be tough opponents also."
Sydney FCs Scott Jamieson told Fox Sports after the game he didn't believe the club were suffering a premiership hangover.
"There's nothing wrong, it's a little blip and I'm sure next week against Brisbane there's going to be an improvement and hopefully three points," he said.
Jamieson explained the Sky Blues failed to follow through with their gameplan and struggled to hold onto the ball.
"It's not good enough," he said. "We came here with a gameplan and we stuck with it for periods of the game, but our concentration let us down.
"It happened last week against Melbourne and we talked about it this week and it happened again. It's not good enough and everyone collectively has to improve on the training pitch."
Jamieson added: "It's been two games played and it's a long season. We'll re-group now, we're a very positive bunch of lads and we'll go from here."
