Milicevic and Victory have finally agreed terms to release him from the final year of his contract. Milicevic is understood to have agreed to accept around 50% of the money left on his contract.

The Victory board are understood to be annoyed with Merrick and have questioned his man-management skills in light of the Milicevic saga, Caceres' departure and his fall-outs with other players, including star striker Archie Thompson
