EXCLUSIVE: Jets new boy Ljubo Milicevic has vowed to carry on being a training ground loudmouth and he doesn't care who it upsets.
Milicevic is settling in well at the club - but out on the paddock and on the pitch, he's more concerned about getting results than making new friends.
He told au.fourfourtwo.com: "If you meet me on the street and ask me a question I won't have to think twice to give you a direct answer.
"Sometimes it can be a bit tough on my teammates when I'm on the pitch because I'm direct. I'm harder on myself than anyone else but if you're in my team then I'll be hard on you as well because we're all gifted and we're lucky to be where we are and I think sometimes we forget."
At the training session last week and a trial match against a local side, Ljubo pulled no punches in his comments to team-mates about where he felt they were lacking.
But he also led the celebrations when his side scored.
He added: "I don't care if I'm not liked on the pitch, I just want to win.
"So if you're coming to training and coming into a game then put it all in. I don't see anything wrong with looking at things that way."
While Milicevic is getting stuck in on the training pitch ahead of the Jets opening match in the Asian Champions League, there is a glimmer of light for youngster Marko Jesic.
He is back in light training and could step up his involvement in the next month after suffering a knee injury on Boxing Day.
