TODAY'S Hyundai A-League clash between Central Coast and Newcastle Jets has been postponed after torrential rain in Gosford meant the field was unplayable.
Earlier the National Youth League clash between both these sides had been postponed but now it has been confirmed the senior fixture at Bluetongue Stadium has been called off too.
There has been plenty of heavy rain in Gosford over the last few days, meaning alot of surface water on the Bluetongue pitch, which deemed it unplayable.
The postponement is the second in a week for the Jets, who had to play a re-scheduled game against North Queensland Fury in Townsville on Tuesday.
It hasn't been confirmed yet when the re-scheduled Mariners-Jets will be played.
