CENTRAL Coast Mariners today finally unveiled their brand new Kappa kit for next season - including a pink version for their round two game against Perth Glory.
The Mariners and Kappa have listened to fans who wanted the team to return to a mainly yellow home kit with the new home shirt s iconic yellow trimmed by navy blue.
Kappa’s emblem will adorn each shoulder while club partner Primo Smallgoods will feature on the small of the back. The Mariners will pair their home kit with navy blue shorts and socks.
Away from home the Mariners will don a reverse look featuring a navy blue base wrapped in yellow trim. White shorts and socks complete the away look.
Central Coast keepers Mathew Ryan and Justin Pasfield will be in all pink this season both at home and when the Mariners are on the road. When there is a clash with either the opposition or the referees, Ryan and Pasfield will switch to all green or all navy attire.
But the whole side will wear pink for the team's round 2 clash with Perth Glory at Bluetongue Stadium on Sunday, October 14.
A combined initiative with Mingara Recreation Club, the one-off switch to the pink playing kits is in support of Pink Ribbon Day to be held on Monday, October 22.
Fans can purchase the 2012/13 official replica shirts now at the Central Coast Mariners office or online from 2pm today.
The club will also be selling the new shirts at Soccer5s World Club Championship Day on Saturday September 22 from 11am to 2pm at 1 Bryant Drive Tuggerah.
