EXCLUSIVE: Central Coast Mariners have signed NSW Premier League keeper Matthew Nash from Apia Leichhardt on the day Mark Bosnich agreed to a seven game guest stint.
The signing means the Mariners will have a full complement of three keepers for when Danny Vukovic returns from suspension in five weeks' time. The club's other keeper is youngster Andrew Redmayne.
Injuries notwithstanding, it means Mark Bosnich's stint of seven guest games will be just that although the club are keeping their options open.
Lyall Gorman, chairman of the Mariners, said Bosnich has some 'unfinished business' back in London but didn't close the door on a possible future involvement with the former Socceroo icon.
"We've got Asian Champions League to look forward to and we'll certainly be looking forward to seeing where it [the Bosnich relationship] takes us in years to come,"said Gorman.
Bosnich added: "I'd like to think the adventure can keep going on. By performing well on and off the pitch that obviously puts me in a stronger position. But it's down to the football club."
