Perth Glory coach, Dave Mitchell, is reportedly chasing the signature of the Malaysian Super League's top scorer, Marlon Alex James of Kedah FC. The 31 year old St Vincent & Grenadines international striker scored 40 goals last season, making him one of the best imports to Asian football in recent years. Having already signed Argentinian midfielder Adrian Trinidad from KL Plus from the Malaysian league, Mitchell is believed to be ready to sign James to be the Glory's attacking spearhead for the upcoming A-League season. According to some inside sources, Mitchell will meet with James after the Glory's tour of Indonesia to discuss the finalities of the contract.
