SYDNEY FC skipper Terry McFlynn insists the A-League's basement boys are only looking to the future with Adelaide United the only focus for their thoughts ahead of Monday's encounter.
Sydney are still winless this season and things don't get any easier as the league leaders roll into town.
McFlynn went so close to earning his side a first three-point haul on Wednesday night, only for his shot to bounce off the crossbar and stay out against North Queensland.
We can't change what's happened in the past," McFlynn told AAP.
"We just need to move on.
"Preparation's started already for that game (against Adelaide) and we're going into the game to win it."
The captain said the desire was there to make it happen.
"It's obviously a factor we haven't won this season, obviously the longer it goes on the more determined and desperate you become to get that win," McFlynn added.
