Ernie Merrick & Gary Cole have been in contact with Socceroo Ryan Griffiths who has been back in Australia training with Newcastle Jets. Although Griffiths has stated he wont play for any other A-League club Cole is confident the lure of the ACL will see negotiations lead to the player signing a 2 year contract with Melbourne.
