PERTH Glory's former Socceroo marquee Mile Sterjovski today flew out to China to undergo a medical with Chinese Super League team Dalian Aerbin.
If Sterjovski passes his medical and agrees terms with Dalian, the A-League club has agreed to terminate the remaining two months of his contract, despite their finals campaign looming.
“Mile has received an offer which he couldn’t refuse,” Perth Glory coach Ian Ferguson said.
“Perth Glory have never stood in the way of players wanting to play overseas and it’s a blow to lose Mile at this stage of the season.
“But we are not the only A-League club in this situation, and the contracts players are been offered in Asia is something we can’t match at the moment.
“We wish Mile the very best and respect his wishes.”
