EXCLUSIVE: Miron Bleiberg has been in Melbourne scouting players in the cut-price VPL to add some grit to his Gold Coast United roster.
Bleiberg has checked out a number of games recently and would've been impressed by some of the performances in the state's top league.
Potential players in the VPL who could step up to the A-League include impressive Green Gully striker Joel Nikolic, Knights' pair Cameron Watson and Andrew Barisic and young AIS star Kofi Danning among a number of potentials.
However, more high profile signings are on the radar for Clive Palmer's cashed up club, in particular from the Chinese market.
Both Manchester City's Sun Ji-hai, scorer against the Socceroos two weeks ago, and Sun Xiang of Shanghai Shenhua are believed to be on the mining mogul's expansive radar.
