PERTH Glory's new coach has been banned from the touchline after just two games in charge, the FFA confirmed today.
Mitchell was sent to the stands after he booted a water bottle onto the pitch during Glory's heated match with Central Coast Mariners at the weekend.
Now the Hyundai A-League match review panel has handed Mitchell a one match suspension for the disciplinary infringement.
"David Mitchell will be suspended for the Round 14 Hyundai A-League match against Adelaide United," said an FFA statement.
"[He] will be able to return for the Round 15 fixture against Melbourne Victory at Member's Equity Stadium on Sunday 2nd December 2007."
